Customer gets notoriety of progressive Tablet Program
Ken Collura, Technology Coordinator for the Catholic Diocese of Central
Ohio, Department of Education has been getting major notoriety for this forward
and progressive ideas for technology in the classroom. Ken is the fist to
do a class wide deployment of Tablet PC computers in a high school. The
first pilot school which is Bishop Harley High School, now has all seniors
caring and using in the classroom and home HP Tablet PCs. These are the
second set of seniors to use them, and will be the first to use them for their
entire senior year. Bishop Watterson, and Bishop Ready are also doing
smaller pilot programs with a portion of the class using them. Bishop
Harley will provide all the Juniors next year with tables for two full classes,
and additional classes being added each year. As Bishop Watterson's pilot
program progresses successfully, the school plans to expand its programs as
well. Radiant is proud and excited to be the HP education partner for
the Diocese and working with Ken to provide the service and support he needs to
make this a successful and growth program. Because of Ken's progressive
efforts, he has been getting major national and international press on his
program, and HP has been utilizing Ken around the country to present his program
to other HP customers around the county.
The MyHomeworkOnline.com program Radiant host and offers to schools around the
country is a tool originally inspired by Ken. Radiant has worked with
him the last year on its development as a complete and professional product that
enhances his tablet program.
